Online Counselling With Me

Understanding how difficult it can be to talk and open up about painful feelings and life experiences, which can add to the fear of seeking out therapy - I provide a free, no-obligation 30-minute telephone or video consultation to help you find the support you are looking for. During the free consultation, If continuing to work with me is the right course of action for you, I will invite you to book an initial therapy session so we can talk further about what it is you are seeking counselling for.

Working Online

The beauty of working online means you can log on from pretty much anywhere in the UK. It can be conducted from the comfort of your own home, office, the shed down the end of the garden or even your car! It is time saving and can be just as effective as face to face therapy.

Session Frequency

Depending on what you are trying to achieve therapy is usually conducted one hour a week every week but sometimes it can be twice a week, fortnightly or monthly, it can all depend on where you are on your therapeutic journey.

I offer short and long-term online therapy. Which means a short course of sessions could last just 6-12 weeks or long-term therapy could last longer than 6-12 months. Everyone I work with is different and there is no right or wrong.

Initial Online Therapy Session

I experience this initial online counselling session to be highly charged with anxiety, which is completely normal, and I do everything I can to make you feel safe and comfortable during this initial online meeting. After this, if you would like to continue working with me, we just need to discuss booking you in for further appointments.

Ongoing Sessions

Depending on your needs, the first few sessions may feel like all you are doing is talking and sharing your story with me, this is a completely normal way to start your therapeutic experience. I am sensitive to the content that comes up in these early sessions as I get to know you, and make sure to keep you feeling safe throughout our sessions together.
